This casual role is a great opportunity for you to join our high performing team responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and help connect members of our community to a wide range of library resources and programmes. This role also plays an important part in making the library a welcoming hub for everyone. The Community Engagement Assistant supports our Lifelong Learning team with maintain library operations, ensuring compliance with policies and delivering memorable customer experiences.

- You are a customer-focused professional with a passion for providing excellent service and fostering community connections.
- You bring strong communication skills, adaptability, and a friendly demeanour to every interaction.
- Ideally, you have experience in customer engagement, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- A keen interest in local history, arts, and learning programmes is a plus.

You must be able to pass a Police Vetting Check as required by the Vulnerable Childrens Act.
