Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About this role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Reticulation Service Person who will maintain the day-to-day operation of Council's water reticulation, wastewater, and drainage systems; and provide an effective after-hours service for emergency repairs.
You'll be responsible for inspections, the efficient and effective maintenance of our assets and for providing regular and timely reporting on completion of works and condition of assets. You'll escalate any issues or deficiencies, as required.

You'll be joining a team that believes we are better together.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A National certificate in Water Reticulation and STMS, or the commitment to achieve this
  • The physical fitness required to cope with heavy manual work
  • Excellent planning and prioritising skills to get the job done
  • Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills with the ability to work well with members of the public, contractors and staff to find solutions.
