Our Liquor Licensing Inspector role is key to supporting us meet our obligations under the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 and we are looking for a superstar with the understanding of how to apply legislative requirements to both support our communities and achieve our outcomes. The role covers premises and people in the Whakatāne District. This role is part-time with a minimum of 20 hours per week.

You will be someone who has experience in an enforcement role who enjoys applying these skills in a community setting. You will be someone who thrives working as part of a high performing team and looking for a role where you can work collaboratively with key stakeholders to get results. You will be process and solution-focused, have excellent communication skills and above all else, a great sense of humour.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Experience in gathering evidence, making submissions, and giving evidence at hearings.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- Regulatory enforcement experience.
- A practical person with a focus on getting the best solution for the organisation and community
- A high level of assurance working within an organisation that has significant engagement with whānau, hapū and iwi

The salary range for this role is $ 65,000 - $77,000 (pro rated)
