Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About this role

In this role you'll use your outstanding administration and communication skills to manage bookings for Council's parks, reserves and halls as well as being the pivotal connection point for our cemeteries and crematorium. You'll also work closely with our Open Spaces team to provide administrative support. This role is varied and interesting, no two days will be the same.

Currently this role is available between 27 and 40 hours per week, depending on the operational requirements.

You will bring:

  • Relevant qualifications and/or experience in business administration.
  • Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Superior written and oral communications skills.
  • High attention to detail, excellent time management and strong emphasis on accuracy and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent decision making and problem solving abilities.
  • Natural ability to be empathetic and respectful when communicating both internally and with people across our communities.
