Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About this role

As our Arts Digital Capability Specialist, you'll lead the design, development, and delivery of digital strategies and solutions for our library, arts, and heritage teams. You'll work with colleagues, technology partners, and the community to create seamless digital experiences that make culture, learning, and creativity accessible to everyone.

What you'll do

  • Lead the development of digital strategies and solutions for arts and cultural services
  • Support teams to implement new technologies and digital platforms
  • Deliver digital capability training and promote digital literacy initiatives
  • Collaborate with ICT, communications, and external providers to optimise technology use
  • Monitor and evaluate digital initiatives using data insights to inform improvements
  • Explore emerging technologies to enhance service delivery and engagement

You're a forward-thinking digital specialist who loves solving problems, driving innovation, and helping others embrace new technologies. You'll have strong technical knowledge, project management experience, and the ability to make complex ideas simple for users.

What you'll bring

  • A tertiary qualification in digital technology, information management, or related field
  • Proven experience implementing digital solutions in cultural, educational, or community settings
  • Strong understanding of digital platforms, systems integration, and emerging technologies
  • Experience in training and supporting staff to develop digital capability
  • Excellent project management and collaboration skills
  • A passion for innovation and inclusive access to digital services
