We're looking for an experienced and customer-focused Holiday Park Lead to help deliver exceptional visitor experiences at Riverside, Whakatāne Holiday Park.
As the senior operational support to the Team Leader, you'll take ownership of day-to-day operations, ensuring high standards across customer service, housekeeping, presentation, and safety. You'll lead from the front, providing guidance, coaching, and support to the team while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. You'll be a key point of contact for staff and guests, help resolve operational challenges, oversee quality standards, and step into leadership responsibilities when required. Your ability to build capability in others, maintain high standards, and create memorable guest experiences will be critical to the success of the Holiday Park.

You are an experienced hospitality, tourism, accommodation, or customer service professional who leads through influence and example. Passionate about customer service and high standards, you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy coaching others, fostering strong teamwork, and driving continuous improvement. Adaptable and resilient, you can confidently respond to changing priorities while delivering exceptional operational outcomes.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Experience in a senior, lead, or supervisory role within hospitality, tourism, accommodation, or a customer-focused environment.
- A proven ability to coach, support, and develop others.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- A commitment to quality, health and safety, and continuous improvement.
- The flexibility to work a roster that includes weekends, public holidays, and peak holiday periods.
- Leads by example and committed to creating outstanding experiences for our guests and community.
