Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About this role

Our Mowing and Vegetation Control Operators play a huge part in keeping our district looking presentable. You will need to be fit and energetic and enjoy working in the outdoors. This role also assists the Open Spaces and Cemeteries team in undertaking amenity and cemetery duties when required.

Ko wai koe | About you

We'll provide the support - you'll bring your enthusiasm, great attitude, awesome teamwork and motivation. You will also have;

  • Experience and ability to operate machinery and use equipment
  • A current Drivers Licence (Class 1 &2)
  • Strong time management
  • A passion for great customer service - a willingness to chat to our community is a must
  • A dedication for continuous improvement
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • A strong commitment to keeping yourself, other employees and the community safe
  • Above all else, a good sense of humour and great work ethic!

This role is considered health sensitive & safety sensitive and the succesful candidate will be required to undergo and pass a pre employment health check and drug test.
