Management Accountant
Are you keen to put the skills and experience which you've gained so far to great use serving our local community?
We're looking for a Management Accountant to join the Finance Business Partnering group at Whakatāne District Council. The role provides financial leadership and inputs the Long Term Plan, the Annual Plan, Annual report and Asset Management Plans as well as partnering with manager's across the organisation to support them with decision making including cost-benefit analysis assessments, activity modelling and funding applications.
What are we looking for?
- A relevant tertiary accounting qualification
- 3+ years of post-graduate experience applying financial standards and best practise
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ideally have experience working in a local government environment
